(Cover image not mine, belongs to Katogi Mari. I'm a HUGE fan of the Nutcracker since childhood and would like to write my own version someday. For now, I want to write this sort of fanfic because I'm not the only one who wants this.) Long before Clara Stahlbaum was born, Drosselmeyer had another goddaughter from the Silberhaus family. One eerie night, when she was very little, she heard the chanting of mice. That was many Christmases ago and has completely forgotten about it. Now a beautiful young lady of age 17, who pitifully grew ill and weak in her legs. How she envies her female cousins, who dance elegantly every year at their Christmas party. She yearns for a suitor who would carefully guide and support her weak body. This year, however, the Mouse King has his sights on her . . . A tale that resembles the classic yet with an alluring, dark twist. (This isn't for a specific version of any "The Nutcracker." It's more of an original story with references to other versions of the classic ballet tale.)

It has been 2 years since they've defeated the Mouse King once and for all and they were living peacefully, until he returned, without any explanations. He kidnapped the female and placed the same curse on the man, cursing him into a doll for all eternity. Now, Stephanie is back in action to rescue the day for the Prince of the Dolls! All she has to do is to find the Princess of the Dolls and break the spells that the two of them are under and everything will go back to normal. But, the problem is; the Prince has PST and they have no clue of where the Princess is. But, Stephanie is determined to find the Princess to rescue the kingdom from misery and save the loving couple! Now, unite with them, as they traveled through the forests, plains, hills, and kingdoms to find the Prince's love and a way to break the spell!

Jack, who is currently staying in L.A. for the holidays, cannot wait to spend some time with his greatest YouTube friends! After a year marking the end of the Rat King's reign, Christmas is coming around once again. The time Mary has been patiently waiting for since she was sent back home. Things aren't the same without N.C. and their friends, and she's determined to see them again this year, even if it's just a dream. But that's not the only person she's excited for... Rebecca, a cousin from her father's side, is coming to see them for the first time. Excitement would be an understatement for how Mary was feeling. Friends and new family for Christmas seemed too good to be true. And perhaps it was. Rumors have been spreading around N.C.'s city; the missing Rat King will be returning to take over the kingdom once and for all, and this time they might not be able to stop it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ATTENTION! ALL CHARACTERS DO NOT BELONG TO ME!!! An oc will also be present but don't let it discourage you from reading :] I'm also gonna be honest this book has been ongoing since 2019 after I restarted the book, but after logging back in after 4 years it's almost completed! I'm also lazy to make major changes to past chapters I made when I was in like 8th grade, so sorry if there's any cringe parts in the earlier chapters that I missed when making some updates(and the bad writing). AND!! Please watch the movie before reading my book! Everything will make a lot more sense! I'm not sure where you can watch the movie(I myself have the disc), you'll have to do some research. The movie is called: "The Nutcracker: The Untold Story" or "The Nutcracker in 3D"
