Especially when this unexpected persona takes a pen, and begins... And from the heart... and beyond, come words with meaning and care; in ways that words can be beautiful! In ways, that's unrelated, yet relatable... *** I enjoy writing poems at times, as I see it as a beautiful way of expressing oneself, or one's thoughts or opinion for something. "He lived like a dead tree in a graveyard." "A Storm On The Mountain" is nominally about Aanav, a young boy who flees the portrait of a family and finds refuge on a hill where he befriends a shepherd who wears goat-skin-trousers. Still, his chaotic childhood becomes a haunting figure that reflects the silence of his present. Profoundly delicate with arresting imagery, the story narrates a broken heart, who brings these shattered pieces onto a hill and tries to make a very unperfect mended heart. Taken aback I grit my teeth in discomfort. "Well, I've gotten this far on my own," I snap, "and you know what they say: if it's not broke, don't fix it."
