Layla Prisca was never supposed to leave the Outer Banks for good. Born and raised between the ocean in the OBX and the chaos of Florida, Layla has spent most of her life dreaming about the place she always considered home. She spent every summer with her grandparents in the OBX. Now, at eighteen, she's finally back. For good this time. She's not leaving. The beaches are still familiar. Her friends are still waiting for her. The Pogues are still the same idiots she grew up with over the years. But she's older now. And so is everyone else. Old friendships are changing.
