*TW blood, injury, murder, nightmare, panic attack, child abuse, violence, trauma/ptsd* this story switches perspectives between odysseus, telemachus, and penelope showing the same events focusing mostly on telem & ody mainly dealing with telem's trauma the song Odysseus ends a bit differently and so ICHBW doesn't happen. now telemachus is scared of his father. both father and son deal with guilt and trauma and both hide it. odysseus wants to be a better father to telemachus and telemachus wants to be a better son to odysseus. everything between them and in themselves keeps building and building but what happens when neither can hide it anymore?

Heyyo, It's B! This is my first story, and I am so glad you're reading it! I've recently gotten hooked on Epic: The Musical-- Listen to it if you haven't, it's SO good. I then got the idea to write a fanfic about...yes... AntinousxPenelope. Yes, I know Odysseus is Penelope's soulmate, but just hush and let me put you through a hypothetical. Think of this as an alternate Universe where Antinous does win over Penelope while Odysseus is gone. Antinous will have his good and bad moments. He might be charming sometimes, but there will be unwanted advances made. He may do things in anger (Maturity Warnings may be set). Who knows, the direction of this story will go as I continue writing chapters. Anyways...I hope you guys enjoy this. Leave suggestions! Creative liberties were taken and this is a very unedited story so there will be mistakes.

Epic The Musical? Yes. Young Telemachus found a little girl in the training hall aggressively hacking down a training dummy with a wooden sword. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was Eftychia. He didn't know much about the girl, only in passing. Her mother was his mother's childhood friend. And with her mother's recent passing, her father became one of the queen's suitors, in short, an enemy. "What are you doing here?" he asked. The girl didn't look up but answered, "They won't let me hold a sword at home." "And?" Telemachus asked, not satisfied with the answer. "And mother said, Spartan girls do rigorous physical training. So I should have one too," she explained, pointing the wooden sword at him, "Want to spar?" Telemachus raised his brow at her. He knows that she was born and raised in Ithaca and was about to point it out when he noticed her red puffy eyes. She did just lose her mother. Telemachus agreed to the spar not expecting that this girl would be someone who would be by his side no matter what.

The Odyssey is a well known Ancient Greek story about the main hero Odysseus, who travels to Troy to retrieve Helen and make it back to Ithaca. On his way home, he is faced with dangers and trials that make his journey much more difficult. This story, however, will be a writing of Jorge Rivera-Herrans, "Epic the Musical" adaptation of the story. I have not read the actual book so I'm solely going by Epic, which is not all canonical.
