Princess Julia of Ithaca has always considered herself as...the invisible princess. Half the palace thinks she's a myth. Well, except her brooding twin, Telemachus, and her slowly aging mother, Penelope. Will Odysseus make it home? Maybe. But Antinous isn't leaving. (This was originally written as a fanfic for my friend who is OBSESSED with Antinous from EPIC: The Musical, but I really wanted to share it, with her permission of course, so here we are!) Julia and Andi Mae are my own characters, everyone else is either from Homer's Odyssey or Jorge Rivera-Herrans' EPIC: The Musical.

The story follows Telemachus after his father's death, after he marries the Goddess Circe, and after he finds out he's being haunted. To find out more, don't be afraid to read! These characters are primarily from Homer's The Odyssey, an epic poem. These characters do not belong to me, this story is purely fictional, and this does not come from a myth. This is an original story. If a problem is found with either the characters or grammar, please do not be afraid to point it out. If you do not agree the story and it's contents, please do not leave hateful comments about the story, it is not for you. Disclaimer: These characters and themes are NOT based on EPIC: The Musical. The Odyssey (Greek: Ὀδύσσεια Odýsseia] in Classical Attic) is one of two major ancient Greek epic poems attributed to Homer. It is, in part, a sequel to the Iliad, the other work ascribed to Homer. The Odyssey is fundamental to the modern Western canon, and is the second-oldest extant work of Western literature; the Iliad is the oldest. Scholars believe the Odyssey was composed near the end of the 8th century BC, somewhere in Ionia, the Greek coastal region of Anatolia. The poem mainly focuses on the Greek hero Odysseus (known as Ulysses in Roman myths), king of Ithaca, and his journey home after the fall of Troy. It takes Odysseus ten years to reach Ithaca after the ten-year Trojan War. In his absence, it is assumed Odysseus has died, and his wife Penelope and son Telemachus must deal with a group of unruly suitors, the Mnesteres (Greek: Μνηστῆρες) or Proci, who compete for Penelope's hand in marriage.
