While Queen Penelope waits for Odysseus to return from a war that ended years ago, Daphne grows up alongside Prince 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐒, becoming his closest friend, his greatest comfort... and, eventually, the woman he loves. But in a kingdom ruled by rumor, love can be twisted into ambition. The suitors call her a siren. They claim she has bewitched the prince, luring him toward a marriage meant to secure a crown she never wanted. As the suitors tighten their grip on Ithaca, whispers spread through the palace until Daphne becomes the target of cruel accusations. The one title she has spent her life trying to escape is suddenly thrust upon her, forcing her to choose between protecting the man she loves and standing beside him when the kingdom needs him most. epic but im turning it into a book. "hey jay isn't that literally just Homer's Odyssey" yes but it's not cuz it's different and it's written by an amateur 14 year old loser and not an Ancient Greek poet. also it's gay DONT TAKE THIS AS CANON TO EPIC AND ESPECIALLY DONT TAKE THIS AS CANON TO THE ODYSSEY!!! Things will 100% deviate HEAVILY from epic, but the story is the same. This is full of my headcanons and thoughts. Uses song lyrics when they work :))) Enjoy!

Odysseus has to choose a wife but he is not happy with the girls on Ithaca. Penelope is not happy in her home life and longs to be somewhere different.

Chapter One. Our players are introduced, and our story is set up.

This is a poem about Polyphemos, the one-eyed man-eating Kyclops, whom Odysseus, master of seaways and landways, blinded. The Odyssey by Homer inspired me to write this poem, which strives to bring a different perspective to the infamous Kyclops' tale.

The cover was worn and thin - ancient in most respects, but maintaining the sort of delicate nature that one would expect of an antique. Coarse, certainly, but not unflattering to the touch of fingertips was the felt that covered it: a small, compact copy of Homer's The Odyssey. College AU kind of a crack fic honestly

Epic The Musical? Yes. Young Telemachus found a little girl in the training hall aggressively hacking down a training dummy with a wooden sword. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was Eftychia. He didn't know much about the girl, only in passing. Her mother was his mother's childhood friend. And with her mother's recent passing, her father became one of the queen's suitors, in short, an enemy. "What are you doing here?" he asked. The girl didn't look up but answered, "They won't let me hold a sword at home." "And?" Telemachus asked, not satisfied with the answer. "And mother said, Spartan girls do rigorous physical training. So I should have one too," she explained, pointing the wooden sword at him, "Want to spar?" Telemachus raised his brow at her. He knows that she was born and raised in Ithaca and was about to point it out when he noticed her red puffy eyes. She did just lose her mother. Telemachus agreed to the spar not expecting that this girl would be someone who would be by his side no matter what.

my new obsession is EPIC: The Musical....need I say much more?

A modern version of when Calypso and Odysseus were on Ogygia, if they everyone was mortal. Oneshot. I wrote this awhile ago, I might edit it, maybe not.

Ulysses was a poor boy who no family left. He found himself at the dock of the Titanic and boarded. Nellie was headed back to America after settling with her late fathers' debtors but, at the cost of her freedom. When Ulysses spots Nellie for the first time, it was like his soul had known who she was and he vowed to find a way to talk to her.
