Grace Halpert has to stay late in the office one night in request of her boss, Michael Scott. Dreading what she thought would be one of the worst nights of her life actually might turn out not so bad after finding a special bond with one of the people she would least expect. He didn't wanna seem too eager to be joining in on his first prank. He also tried to avoid bonding with any Halperts as much as possible as he considered them his enemies. Letting his curiosity get to him, he got up and walked over to Grace's desk. He hovered over her reading the note as she continued writing. "Oh my God. This is brutal. Ah, the 2010s. Say what you want, but there was something special about the 2010s. Maybe it was something in the air. Or maybe this was the calm before a supposed storm. But there was something so special about this era. Something unexplainable, yet garishly obvious. Though that may be easier to say in retrospect. After all, when you look back at life with the rose-tinted lens of nostalgia, things appear to be simpler than they seemed to be back then. But, what if you could see a peek into what life was in a by-gone era? What if you can take a look at the normal back then, warts and all? Well, now you can see it through the eyes of the now-famous documentarist Al Stoney, who found an old documentary he filmed, all the way back between 2014 and 2020, while he was a student at Cornell. The documentary takes place at Costa, Verma and Yamada Law Associates, a law firm based in Brooklyn, NY.
