Dwayne Snoot is a kid on his family's radish farm. Dwayne's world is not so normal though, as he lives with his Ma, Pa, Ganpa Tobias, Gammy Cecilia, his twin brothers Andrew and James, and his older sister Pamela. All are Polish, have good baking skills, and can rap South Cali style, but Dwayne cannot keep up with his family, and does not learn Polish, or acquire decent bread making skills. But he can sing country. Alone, not knowing if his family is talking about him behind his back, he makes and instrument, called the Dwayneter, a guitar-like instrument with seven strings. Dwayne soon finds a drummer named Ernie Slapazz, a guitarist named Tom Barnold, and a Saxophonist named Willie Noel. Later, Andrew joins the band as a banjoist, and the band goes on tour. Dwayne's future is looking up, until a new family of beet farmers move into town, called the Shrutes. Dwayne must save his farm, by playing with his band to make money for his family, and to stop the Shrutes from stealing their business. Will Dwayne make his family proud, or will his family leave him in the dirt? Read my book Beet-Mashed to find out!
