There is another immortal. But, she is just a kid and shows up only a year after the Old Guard added Nile. Andy, doesn't know what to think, but she takes the girl under her wing. **Based off of the movie but Andy keeps her immortality.

The year was 334 BC. That was the first time Adam died. He was 17 and fighting a war he did not believe in for an empire he did not support. It took him many years and many more deaths to realise what he had become, and much more to find anyone else like him. Eventually he found his family, and after too long living, Adonis of Macedon was ready to be embraced by the arms of death one last time. Though until his time came, he would keep helping those who need it most. Warnings: death, violence, swearing. Disclaimer- I do not own The Old Guard. All rights go to Greg Rucka.

Being Nile Anchorsen is hard because she had a troubling past. She's tired of being kept in the dark. She gets kidnapped and she find out more about her dad and the "project" he was working on. Some might say it's an honor to have what she will get, but for Nile, it's a curse.

He just wanted to be loved. He just wanted affection from those he thought of as family, but he never received either. Nicky and Joe were too absorbed in their own relationship. Andy was grieving on her own, not wanting to let go of the woman she had lost over half a millennium ago. Desperate to see those who loved him and those he loved, he decided to turn himself, just him, in for experimentation. He requested Copley for one last mission, one last chance to do some good before he tried to figure out how to die.

I loved The Old Guard. I loved the casting, the acting, the songs, the whole deal... I especially loved Nicky ❤ Joe. That scene in the van... Luca Marinelli said in an interview, that's what you have after a thousand years, that's what love would be like. I'm paraphrasing, of course, but he did say that. And Joe's declaration...he killed me. Or I should say, Marwan Kenzari did. He really did. I mean Charlize Theron is gold and I loved the other actors too, but Marwan and Luca... thank you guys for bringing to life the Immortal love story of Nicky and Joe, and for doing it brilliantly. I have the team in Malta in this one shot, set immediately after the movie. My one shot is based on the characters in the movie. I did read the comics, but I found the movie version more... real, somehow. Testament to the actors, director and Greg Rucka of course, who is the creator of the series as well as the movie's screenwriter. So... enough rambling. Joe and Nicky are on vacation in gorgeous Malta, where Andy and Nile join them after a while... Disclaimer: The characters belong to the creators, no copyright infringement intended.
