I was walking around in the woods at night, I was thinking 'when will I meet my true love' all I ever wanted was to be with someone who gets me in more ways than one. When I look up I am meet with the eyes that are like the ocean full of wonder. Right then in there I felt it the wonder/connection when he was only standing a few feet away. 'could he be the one' I thought to myself but somehow I think he heard my thoughts. Next thing I felt was darkness taking over..........

Jimin Park was a powerful being living his long life doing whatever he wanted with whomever he wanted. But one night, one guy changed it all. Caroline's daughter Lizzie has a premonition about Caroline's death and at the same day Klaus arrives at Caroline's doorstep, he's being hunted by all of the vampires he's turned over the centruies. All of this is connected somehow but they don't know how yet. Follow the past and the future of Klaroline, will they end on top or will they fall.

This is a story of how a former beta becomes an alpha/hybrid with no humanity. Where he joins a group who calls themselves the Black curtain and finds out that he has a long lost brother, who turns out to be a vampire.
