After a long year of search, Coraline finally buys and moves into a supposed dream house. An exciting achievement in ones life, a nest to forever call your own, something to spin your own memories into. But with all good things, they end far to quickly. Weird things begin to happen in the house she admired, and even a visit from an old friend brings back memories that her subconscious had tried so hard to hide away. Reality around Coraline begins to give way as she finally steps back from the life she lived and views it from another perspective. ... The doll that stared back at me should've been impossible. There was no way for her to be lying there, on the desk I worked at each day, cluttered by my own hands. She was impossible. It was almost like she was pulled from my memory, straight from that day, yet her hair had grown with mine, her style catered towards mine. The only difference between her and I was that in place of my brown eyes, she had black buttons. No. Impossible. Everything. This is a dream. I can feel it. I know it. There is no way. The island is coverd in beautiful vegetation and he must risk his life by trying the fruits that the island provides so that he does not die of hunger.
