Of course, he considered a greaser and lived as one, but he was more compassionate than the stereotypical greaser. He could be loud, rowdy, and cause trouble, but he also knew when enough was enough and he genuinely cared about people. Some, anyway, especially the girl he loved. Evie Wilde was a greaser as well, just a more fortunate one. She lived on the line right between being a greaser and being a soc. She had the attitude, behavior, and appearance of a greaser, but the money of a soc.
