Isn't changing places often some kind of a curse or is it fun that you get to know different people from different places. Those different people may include some ghosts or freaking creatures. Zlata is set to find out the source of horrific happenings around her new immense sized mansion, she shifted into with her family. From meeting weird and frightening people to getting a cruel friend ditching her, she is experiencing a terrific life. She has had a hard time at school, at home, and whereever she goes. This is a fictional autobiography of an award-winning journalist by the name of Geoffrey Cunningham. Raised in the eighties, in a small but wealthy family, his father dead when he was only eight, he decides to strike a different path for himself as a grown up when he was supposed to carry the emblem of his family business with aplomb. After achieving distinction in his chosen field of journalism, as he is pressured to pen his story, he decides to anchor his personal narrative in a string of characters who affected him growing up and since. He begins in the thick of personal drama, at a moment in time when the rug was virtually pulled from under his legs. It was a seminal moment that forced him to reconsider his identity, his future and everything that had happened so far in his life. Now, he has decided to write as an experiment, breaking his lines after ten syllables as in blank verse, though metrically not sound, still aiming to be as lyrical as the story of a journalist's life may be. So readers will find some passages and lines of more or less lyrical quality, while others in plain crisp language, the sort you may expect a journalist who is penning his own story to use. There is a visual quality to the passages due to the constraint of the ten-syllable rule. The ten syllable lines are continued over breaks for paragraphs and dialogue, a convention used most noticeably in Shakespeare.

Placed #410 in Chicklit This story is a fictional, but historically accurate story told through the eyes of a woman who finds feminism. I researched all of the geography, created elaborate backstories for each of the characters, looked at time period specific cars, homes, prices, jobs, wages, median marriage age, popular first and last names of men and women, women in in the workforce, average household income, monthly expenditures, average family size. And that was just to write the first few pages. All of the businesses - the paper and the bank - are real and were open at the time of my story. I had to research massive woman's feminism timelines and go to the library to look at slang. I watched I Love Lucy and other time period specific stories to get a feel for how she was going to speak. I looked at hundreds of advertising campaigns, clothing, and sex appeals in advertising to use with Sharon's obsession with fashion and indoctrination by these ads in her favorite magazines. Pretty fun to write and learn about this time period in history. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.
