With the legendary Dark Knight seemingly vanished, Gotham City's criminal underbelly has quickly filled the void. But a new shadow has emerged to claim the night. We know his mother abandoned him, he was beaten in a circus, and he lived under the Paris opera house. However, there is much more to the story. After all, we don't quite know why he was specifically the "Angel Of Music" or why he chose Christine amongst all the other talented singers. Perhaps, he knew her long before she moved to the Paris Populaire.

Everyone had heard rumors of the infamous Phantom of the Opera. But that's all they were. Rumors. That is, until the Opera Populaire's Prima Donna was terrorized by the Phantom. Lucille Atelier is a simple chorus girl. She was quiet and kept to herself, not even associating with many of the other dancers, except for a Christine Daae. Lucille hid the secret of her voice from everyone and kept behind a mask that she had created for herself. But when an unplanned meeting with the Opera Ghost occurs, she discovers that the Phantom of the Opera may not be what the rumors depict him as. Fighting against her wishes to learn more about the mysterious man, she becomes entangled in a trap of music between a ghost and an orphaned chorus girl who loves someone else.

Originally written in 2018 Marion had always been one to believe in the fairies, banshees, and other spirits, so it was no surprise to her when she hears the stories about a mysterious phantom or ghost at The Palais Garnier. Marion had been accepted into the ballet program on a partial scholarship not very long ago and had been working as a part-time maid to help cover the cost of the program, as it wasn't cheap. In reality you were from the infamous Kurta clan that had been slaughtered by The Phantom Troupe, stealing the beautiful scarlet eyes of your loved ones and leaving you as the supposed sole survivor of the clan. But is that really true? (I was inspired by another book called Vermilion tears while I was looking for how I wanted the reader to be motivated to go to the hunter exam. Otherwise this storyline and reader's character along with how the reader will interact with other characters is crafted all on my own and I wouldn't want to take someone else's hard work)

Alice's love for her angel, grows more and more. ( Christine Daae and Raoul are NOT talked about in this story. Let's just pretend they never happened.)
