A fault in the canvas, yes, that would have had to be it. It was the only rational explanation that could be found there. A contamination that distorted the paint and left it to bleed out from the canvas and spoil the work itself. That must have been the case, the red seemed to be leeching out so terribly that it was staining the ground just before the picture itself. He would have liked to see if he could fix the fault before the piece was entirely beyond help, but he could not quite tell where it was the issue actually came from. A steady, rich crimson staining the time-worn threadbare of the carpet that the painting rested upon, a growing stain that must have been pouring from the painting with more of the red than he could have recalled using for the piece when he was working on it.

In which Dorian and Basil get to have a pleasant moment before Lord Henry was on the horizon

Oscar Wilde and his work is something you simply have to experience for yourself. One of his works is the 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'. It is about the innocent young man called Dorian, who after meeting Lord Henry Wotton begins to desire eternal youth and beauty. Even before the meeting, Dorian is naturally charming, but his soul unknowingly begins to change under Henry's influence. We can see how his soul gradually withers in his portrait. The portrait was painted by the painter Basil Hallward, Dorian's long time close friend who also secretly loved him from the beginning. The book ends tragically. I like to live in my delusions, so I decided to write my own ending and forget about the gut wrenching damage the original caused me. If you like tragic little gay men, this one is for you love.

Set in the 'Dorian A Son of Love and Death's universe because, despite the fact I haven't seen it because of locational issues, I have stuck my claws in DEEP and am hyperfixating on what little we're given from this adaptation online. On the off chance someone who saw this adaptation HAS seen it, please realise I am absolutely winging this to excess and extrapolating from what little I have

Is gays get a chance at happiness. Dorian Gray's name is changed to Dorian Bi because Dorian is bisexual as hell.
