Once there was a girl whose dreams became her reality, whose mother was not lost and whose father was not dead. She dreamt of razor-mouthed boys, of hornets and ravens, of forests and dead things. Once there was a boy who was a pristine and fine-lined thing to the Aglionby name. He was unspecial, but special all the same, able to believe in the profound and distrust the superficial. He was surrounded by magnificent creatures. Once there was a girl who could not see the other side, hear the other side or feel the other side. She was gauche and human, unlike those she knew. She wanted to change, but a bargin would have to be ensued. A life dreamt and a life spent. Cabeswater, unlike any other divine entity, could not be found so easily. But Cabeswater, as promising and as old as it was, was not the one being sought out. It was finding on its own. Adam and Ronan are facing the trials of a world gone to hell. While making their way up to New York to a safe house, Adam gets infected. Both boys are desperately trying to find a way to save each other; Ronan tries to keep Adam close while Adam does anything he can to get as far away from Ronan as he can. Their cat and mouse become more and more desperate. Adam begins losing bigger chunks of time and Ronan feels like he is losing everything he loves.

A group of 4 boys, that call themselves 'The Road Runner Boys' realize the severity of creating their own idea of an action filled universe, when a terrible company called K.T.R. (Kill To Rule), brings their idea of a fictional monster to reality. Now, it is up to the road runner boys to stop this monster in order to save the world.

Adam Parrish is a new student at Aglionby Academy, where the students are taught four core values; tradition, honour, discipline and excellence. While he has had to work for his place at the school, his roommate, Gansey, is the third of his family to go to the school, born to play the role of the dutiful son. They both expect their year to be all about classes and homework, but with their growing friendship and the lesson from their new history teacher, Mr Czerny, their worlds are thrown off course. *Currently in progress and a rough draft - will be edited into a first draft once all chapters are done :)
