The New Avengers are working together after what happened with Bob and protecting Earth from any other threats. They're chasing down their first major job as a team. Mysterious killings have been popping up throughout New York and the citizens are counting on their new heroes to save the day. However, Dr. Strange warns them about a lethal force that has escaped her solitude confinement in the mountains. He tells them that the lead they're chasing down is most likely linked to her. Strange also warns them to be careful because this escaped prisoner is supposedly deadly and they know little about her abilities or why and how long she was locked up. They accept the order because this is what they are meant to do, protect the people of this planet. But something feels off about this mission. Something Yelena can't quite figure out. ❄️❄️❄️ Something happened to her, something cruel and unforgiving. It haunts her, weighs her down and hasn't left her mind. But she just wants to move on with her life, find peace, whether that's in death or freedom. But who is to say that those are not two and the same. But when she escapes, confused, disoriented and alone, she goes back to the only place she knows. Only to find that it's been so long since it happened that everyone she had is gone. And the only thing left is a letter. A letter that makes her blood boil. A letter that shouldn't exist, she thought she made sure of that. But alas, it is there and it is real. And now all she wants is revenge.
