When he asked Molly Hooper to help him with the plan, Sherlock wasn't sure if she was going to accept, but it was his only and best hope that turned out to be a friend capable of showing the detective, much more than he could observe. A child mercenary gets whisked away to London where she finds two men. The only consulting detective in the world and an army doctor. What surprises Sherlock is that Alice is almost as clever and as good at deductions as the consulting criminal himself. Is there more to the young American than meets the eye? The Ministry originally focused their attention on the mad sister, until an enemy of a brother holds a threat over the magical community's heads. Secrets have a way of finding their way around London, and for the girl, her last name only attracted attention. Despite his powerful deduction strategies, such a secret was unknown by Jim Moriarty. Enter Colette "Kit" Holmes, a fourteen-year-old witch at Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Witchcraft.

This is an angsty Johnlock take on Sherlock's falling scene in The Reichenbach Fall. It's only a one-shot, but I hope it's sufficient to your angst needs. Suicide warning (just in case) I had this idea when my friends and I were talking about songs we used to hear as kids. I'm sure someone's already done this, because it's an easy idea to write about. I haven't seen one before though. A lot of this is heavily reliant on the original episode, and I don't own the characters, so rights go to Arthur Conan Doyle (of course), Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat.

Painful memories were all John Watson could think of. His best friend, the love of his life, was gone. There was no way he could come back. It was impossible. Or was it?
