Basically just a rewrite of a few scenes to hype up season four. This is mostly Conrad-centric.

A blizzard hits Atlanta while Nic is home alone on her day off. Conrad is working a shift at Chastain memorial hospital during the blizzard. While Nic is home alone she hears a noise on the front porch and thinks it is Conrad coming home. She looks outside and realizes he isn't home yet. Nic opens the front door to find a young girl unconscious on her front porch. She notices signs of abuse and quickly brings the little girl inside out of the cold. Nic has no choice but to keep the little girl with her until she can get to the hospital. What will happen when the little girl forms a bond with Nic? How will Nic handle knowing that they will have to call social services?

I've just started watching the series The Resident, and I already feel the need to write whump about Conrad. As a whump reader (yes, i know, I'm strange) i have to write my own ideas. please send me requests if you have ideas, otherwise I'll just write my own ideas I've not even watched the first season through, so that means probably a lot of characters are gonna be missing. Maybe throughout the later chapters I'll include some of the characters that get introduced later, if i watch until that point. anyway, i hope you'll enjoy reading this!

Everyone has bad days, even the bravehearted, hardheaded, Dr. Conrad Hawkins has bad days. This just happened to be one of them, one of those days. Usually when the flashbacks happened he was alone but not this time.
