Steve Foxe isn't a normal person. He is a part of a race known as therianthropes, human-animal hybrids capable to transforming between a human and an animal form created by side effect of nuke set off in Germany by the Führer after faking his death near the events of the end of WWII. Steve was the child of a rich family. His father was a criminal who got his income from ill-gotten gains. One day, his father had almost been caught in a bank heist, causing the authorities to be on the lookout for him. Because of this, the family was forced to flee to the city of Los Angeles. After a few months, a rogue FBI agent had tracked down the Foxes and raided their home. Steve's mother told him to escape and run as far away as possible. Despite him refusing to leave his family, he was ultimately forced to escape. The next day, Steve went back to his neighbourhood to find his parents' carcasses in his destroyed house after searching for 4 hours. This would cause him to be grief-stricken as he swore vengeance against the one who murdered his family.

Raven's life is changed forever on her 18th birthday. Having gone through a painful transition she recieves powers that come alongside being a witch. She now has to learn about her new life and the only way is to move to a boarding school for the paranormal. There she learns a lot about herself, finds a soulmate, develops friendships that last a lifetime and learns of traitors and danger of the most dangerous kind. Survival is unsure - but they won't go down easily.

In a world where most people transform into animals according to their personality. But there is a few who do not transform until later in their life or never at all. Our protagonists are five people, Zoe, Lily, Leo, Jaxon and Alex. Zoe and Leo are fraternal twins, who both can't transform into animals. Lily can transform into a fox, Jaxon can transform into a big bald eagle and Alex can transform into a dragon.

I was in awe of the sight before me. I knew I should've been proud, relieved, or at least had some kind of positive emotion but, nothing could have prepared me for the heart wrenching disappointment as I thought, Why not me?
