Historias de Theruleofthree

These are ten short diary entries from Herb's POV explaining events throughout the book. Disclaimer: I do not own The Rule of Three, Eric Walters does, this is simply a fanfiction. P.S. There are major spoilers for the book in this fanfiction.

Harley Warner had moved in with her grandfather, Herb Campbell, a year before the virus hit. She'd never known her grandfather that well (hell, before the accident she hadn't even known he existed), and over the year she lived with him, that didn't change very much. He was a man of secrets, mysteries and paranoia. Then the virus hits and everything with a computer or connected to a computer shuts down. No one has any idea of what happened or how to get the power back on. Chaos erupts all over as society devolves in the absence of all power. Harley is one of the lucky ones, and her old 1969 Chevy Impala does not die like most of the other cars on her street. The 4 most wanted criminals in Hon-city decide to take part in a little experiment. The experiment is to see how social and how much they change if they get let free to do anything. If they manage to impress Professor Gameź, they won't have to go to jail and are free without any consequences. If not, they'll go to prison. They only have a certain time to prove it, which they do not know. Sounds great, right? Playing along in some dumb experiment for a bit and all their crimes are forgotten. It's almost too perfect to be real. "So..what's in for you then? you're not going to gain anything from that except my freedom." Ramón said, crossing his arms sceptical. "No no..we also have something from it. Less criminality and a more peaceful city." "Yeah, whatever. If it's such a great project, you get more criminality than there is now. Cause everyone would want to do that." He argued, looking at Professor Gameź with a pissed look. "No no no you misunderstood. This is a secret thing. No one knows about it except you 4. If the experiment runs well, we'll do the same with every other criminal in Hon-city. No one tells anything, and the criminals come back as nice and friendly people." There definitely is something wrong, Ramón felt that. But what it is, you read in the full story. What was the experiment about? Does it work?

12 year old, Emily and Samantha are living an ordinary life at their packed school, Granite Public School. It's one day, that everyone's Apple and Andriod devices show a strange glitch and don't work no matter what you do. They set out a journey on their bikes, faking a sleepover, but are actually traveling to find what is causing this to happen. Little do they know that while they're gone, everyone has gone insane. Everyone. They run into a 14 year old, Jacob, and find he wasn't one to turn insane. Why are these three kids not affected like the rest of the community? What's the source causing this to happen?
