In a futuristic world, 100 years from now, the society crumbles and all goes to hell when the government changes everything... They take 50 kids at the age of 10 away from their families and once they turn 17 and put them in one unit, they take others too, to other units. They put the 50 Teenagers in a base called "The canocopia" each unit gets put into different places, their protected by a barrier and behind that is a Maze, a deadly forest, and what they call "the Dunes"... A girl named Malia gets put into a certain group which she doesn't know anyone there, usually you get put with the people you grew up with but, the Radiators (the government) thought she was too dangerous to have people she trusted... Malia is what they call "The Resister" when she was taken away from her family at age 10 she killed 3 men, but they gave her a serum to make her forget what and who she is... that didn't stop her from resisting. They have a group go out into the Maze to find supplies, which is dangerous because they're are creatures that can kill in under a second... When the 4rth time Malia is sent with 3 boys Tristan, Charlie, and Julian, off to another run in the Maze they end up not coming back and fighting these creatures until they find victory.
