Benny x OC (this is set a year AFTER scotty smalls moved) Nova is more of a shy, small, sorta scared girl. she has very few friends and she's okay with that. Her dad taught her how to play baseball when she was 6 and she's been inlove ever since. But she ends up having to to California after her dad found a better job. she doesn't know how since, she lives in Russia, but shes not complaining. Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez was the most amazing guy in town. Especially after he faced the beast in the summer of 62'. He was kind and handsome, and his passion for baseball was admirable. No one knew this better than Clementine Morales, who has been in love with Benny ever since they were young. Unfortunately, she was also known for being the weird nerdy artsy girl, who had never once thought she'd had a chance with him. So what happens when one summer she puts herself out there and starts getting the attention of those around her? And what if one of those people is Benny himself?

The summer of '63 was supposed to be the same as every other-baseball, hot dogs, and lazy afternoons at the Sandlot. But when 14-year-old Brooke Grover moves into the neighborhood once again, with a strong arm but rejection of baseball society, the guys aren't sure what to make of her. Shy, awkward, and more into schoolings than scoreboards, Brooke doesn't fit in... until a surprise talent earns her a spot on the team-and maybe even in their hearts.
