"In the world of politics, nothing is as it seems; it's not black or white-it's a vague abyss of differing opinions." Fresh out of law school and unenthusiastic about the prospect of working until she dies, Alexis Winters gets an unexpected opportunity to experience the real workings of politics first-hand, not exactly the organised chaos she studied in school. Alex will learn about the benefit of a perfectly tailored suit and the danger of a perfectly pressed tie; merely a stainless façade, shielding us from the demoralizing truth. That doesn't mean there aren't some things she learnt about in school carried over into adult life, however, and they have all been carefully condensed and compiled into the toned body of one Lyon Vastia: hot as hell with the personality to match. Miss Winters meets her match as fire and ice collide in a tense battle across the office, bringing her to the end of her tether. But he's not her biggest problem anymore. Faced with the challenges that come with a job of high profile superiority, Alex threatens to expose the secrets that reside behind the walls of one of New York's most prestigious law firm. Who's really running the show? Who's working in the shadows? And when did she become such a liability? One thing is for certain: she will soon begin to discover that being a liability amongst those who lie for a profession; their presence is likely to put one at a disadvantage. *Cover made by Dr3amOn* *This story is by no means explicit, wattpad changed the rating.*

Choosing the right word to convey the right meaning is essential in building a strong argument. Just as a painter uses different colors in her palette to create a beautiful image each word has subtly different meanings. Instead of writing "full of" meaning, the phrase "pregnant with possibility" conveys a different meaning. Similarly instead of "unique," if something is the sole example, it is "singular." The words we choose to dress our arguments are as essential as the underlying facts. The Ivy League Dictionary assists the writer in fortifying their arguments and building a rapport with the reader by choosing just the right word.

This was created so writers could find that one word or phrase they were looking for to place in their story. It will contain descriptive words for scenery, buildings, people, countenances, clothes, adjectives, and anything else I think that might be useful for writing a story. I created this because sometimes when I'm writing I don't know the right words to use to take my story from sounding basic, to involved. I hope this helps other readers improve their writing as well.

"I'm okay." I say aloud and raise my head to face the louring stars above me. They know. "I'm okay." I declare and raise my voice slightly; still trying to find meaning in the words I've said countless times. "I'm okay." I'm shouting now and realizing that maybe there really is no meaning to the cursed words at all. "I'm okay." I scream until my lungs are empty and inhale sharply. Maybe I'm not okay. "I'm okay." I say quietly, my voice becoming a soft whisper lost in the wind. Just like the meaning. Maybe, if I say it enough times, it will mean something. Maybe, if I say it loud enough, I might truly believe it myself. But maybe its meaning has a different meaning entirely. In which a girl awakens to chaos.
