Shen Jiu has been having recurring dreams about an unknown man. The man told him that they knew each other in his past life but Shen Jiu finds that unbelievable. The man told him that he will start to unravel memories from his past life but as he does so, he loses his eyesight or hearing for 2 hours which leaves him at a disadvantage. And so, Shen Jiu changes his fate of being a pickle in a jar. But, the longer he knew the man, the more he felt himself change. He also noticed how everyone also changed their attitudes towards him. Luo Binghe discovered his affection for Shen Qingqiu after he met the nice version in the other reality, so he promised to cherish and take care of the man. Even if Luo Binghe's way of showing affection is odd, Shen Qingqiu can't be bothered, since he is unable of noticing anything going on around himself, but probably that's for the better...
