Maria has never been out at sea before and the month-long journey is getting torturous as is, so when she gets kidnapped by The Magpie, her first time on the ocean worsens. Maria learns of a rivalry between her privateer uncle and the infamous Cour de Noir while slowly falling for her captor who may be involved.

All seemed well after Maria saved Moonacre Valley. She's been gone for three years to finish her schooling and finally she's returned home. But the very first night she is there, terrible nightmares assault her and something feels off. Darkness has been taking over Moonacre Valley and it is up to Maria and Robin to discover what is threatening them and stop it before everything is lost. And what about Robin? He's certainly been acting strange lately. Why is he seeming so gentle towards her when he so rough and wild for the rest of the world? (Better than description I promise)

Now that the valley is saved, Maria and Robin have another job, and that's to help bring the Merryweathers and De Noirs out of their fued. While Maria's Uncle and Robin's dad were able to find peace, their was still a lot to be done. Especially when another threat rears its ugly head, and someone from Maria's past, who just may threaten the new and blossoming spark between the two. Are the Merryweathers and De Noirs destined to join forces for good, especially against a new threat? And are Robin and Maria destined to be together, despite this old "friend"?

Months after the Valley is saved, Robin and Maria have a talk. Where will it lead?
