OPEN!! two princes. twenty-one girls. only 2 winners. long ago, when the kingdom of illéa was first created, the original king, king isaac, traded his soul in exchange for all of the riches in the kingdom. he wanted illéa to live in prosperity, where everyone lived a rich and successful life. however, he thought he could cheat death by attempting to murder the witch who granted him his wealth. thus, the witch serafina cursed him and the entire country. each individual of the royal family, has until the age of 21 to fall in love, if they cannot oblige, they will be turned into gold. serafina wanted to torture king isaac, as he had to watch the people of the kingdom become placed in castes. where only a handful, had the necessities to survive. in order to break the curse, the royal family has held selections for each of the royal family. prince theodore and prince jackson will serve in this selection, their younger sister princess clara, will have hers when the time is right. however, those who are selected are at risk. those who are eliminated are slaughtered in the hands of the royal family. one of the most important elements in order to break the curse. sacrifice. will you be the one to win the hearts of the prince, or will the prince rip yours out?

Hey you! Yeah, you! Welcome! This is a Selection Roleplay (duh) with my very own twist! (Dun dun dun!!!) The twist is, that some people have magic! Anyways, after Queen America and King Maxon changed Illèa for the better, we rui- Wait that's supposed to be inside... Oh well! Guess you'll have to read to find out!

The kingdom of Illea always has something going on! This time, the kingdom is hosting another Selection. The last one was veryyy long ago, after all! The past Selection had bought King Lewis and Queen Anastasia together and they served the kingdom well for the past years. But after the king's death, it left our majesty on her own to do the job. But what about the heir to the crown? And the other two siblings who are finally of age? A selection is what they needed to find a future queen and a prince as well as a princess. Invitations have been sent out to royals of the neighboring kingdoms already!

Finally, Prince Malcom Schreave has come of age and he will need a queen to rule by his side. Will you become royalty?

(20/20) ~ When Prince Matthew's, now King Matthew's, selection ended something went terribly wrong. As he made his decision and proposed to his lovely wife Pennie a jealous ex-selected stood and started chanting. She placed a curse on the whole kingdom, for she wanted to win. Soon each and every person in Illea was cursed. Now 22 years later it is time for the twin princes Brain and Ryan to choose their brides with their own selected. However, some rebels have dark dark curses and in this time of joy for the kingdom, they intend to use these curses to their advantage.

constituted of 35 provinces, illéa is a country highly known for its selective process for the right to the crown. this year there is a twist- the royal twins, both male, will be having their own selection at the same time, so 35 girls will be chosen to participate for both of the boy's hands in marriage. known as 'the selection', the competition offers the chance of a lifetime for a girl from each province to compete for both the crown and the prince or princess' hand. swept away from their daily lives, these 35 girls stay as guests in the castle, where they are treated like royalty and taught how to rule a kingdom. {22/35}

The years passed since Queen Ardelia lost her husband King Peter, she had just gotten pregnant before he passed. She gave birth to a son, Prince Odin. He was to hold a selection the day he turned 21, as it was a royal requirement to rule with a partner by their side. Odin hated the selection, but nonetheless he did what was asked of him. Welcome to the 25 selected, only one lucky girl will stay.

So, this roleplay is inspired by the Selection series by Keira Cass. The concept of castes, a selection and some other things are her work. If you haven't read the books I encourage you to do so! Now, allow me to explain a little bit about the story-line... The land of Alesna has had a good reign. Their kingdom has been peaceful and prosperous. The King and Queen are strong and wise. But everything is about to change. When the beloved Princess Cherlyn disappears during a famous annual gala, the citizens of Alesna are driven into mass panic. The Royals in the Capitol city, Nelamiy, search for ways to protect themselves, but then something else happens. Prince Jakob is found dead in the palace gardens. With their children dropping and their kingdom in panic, King Davon and Queen Addilyn make a plan. They will start a Selection, an old and popular tradition, to find their eldest son, Crown Prince Thaddeus a bride. It will serve as a distractor from the dangers enclosing on the country as well as ensure a future Queen and heir. For as the lives of people are stolen, now they can hope for a distraction through girls looking to steal a boy's heart.
