This is how the Lunar Chronicles should have went, with more action for ships and a bit different and the same story in the end. The books were made by Marissa Meyer.

October 2120 The sounds of voices and the booming bass of music were dying down at The Top Floor of The Ship as everyone began to leave. The party losing momentum as even the loudest guests began to to go back to their cabins. The velvety dark night with plenty of stars was finally quiet, save the few voices of the people leaving. The DJ Booth now empty and shutdown. The sun peeking out behind the mountains. Suddenly a shrill scream shattered the silence above the water as a girl fell toward the water, her body falling fast as she fell through the midnight air. In just a couple of seconds the girl would hit the water that would act like cement underneath her body. But right now as she is falling, you can see her hair framing her face like a halo, he short dress fluttering around as the wind rushes past it, and her bright green eyes wide as the realization of what is happening hits her. You can only hear a faint splash as The Ship rushes past the water never to come back for this girl, who we will never know whether she had fallen, been pushed, or-after too much pain because of secrets-she decided to jump. All we know is she is the first one to fall, or jump, off of The Ship.

Friendship is the root of everything. Jace, Sera, Tammie, and Jacob are best friends. As lives change and days go on will they be able to deny what is an obvious attraction? Sometimes love isn't so cut-and-dry but you can always be sure, we will always be together.
