A young hobbit lass one day improbably meets the brave Squire of Rohan, Merry Brandybuck, the talk of Hobbiton along with his best friend Peregrin...and upon whom she had been pining. She never would have guessed where it would lead, nor would anyone else (they always have their opinions, don't they).

A sequel to "Please" This is a Merry/Pippin fic It is based off the song "In My House" from Broadway's "Natasha Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812" I make many references to the song and use a few lines from it as well (this song was written by Dave Malloy and all rights for the song and it's lyrics go to him) This is Merry/Pippin Boy/Boy if you don't like it, don't read I do not own these characters, all rights for characters go to J.R.R. Ember Skygem is a Hobbit. She wasn't the prettiest Hobbit (to herself that is. She had no idea what others thought), but she was quite talented. Ember took lessons from Elvish blacksmiths. She learned how to make weapons and jewlery. Her favorite things to make were rings; consequently, her collection was large. But a horrific memory keeps following her, so Ember goes to her adoptive Aunt's house every few months, who lives in Bree. Her Aunt helps her distract her from the memory when her adoptive parents are too busy to help her themselves. But when 4 hobbits walk into the bar of the inn, Ember is faced with a choice: find out what is so secretive about these hobbits and have the memory present in her mind, or stay with her Aunt to temporarily forget the stalking horror? ---------- The only character I know in Ember unless I say so otherwise. The rest I give full credit to J. R. R. Tolkien, the best author in the world. I will do my best to incorporate details from the book, but I will mostly be going off the movie because that is just easier. And for those of you who really care, this is a Frodo fanfic.
