A decision must be made about the Singularity.

We all know the cliché apocalypse story. A virus breaks out, people get a craving for brains, and the world falls apart around us. But, what if it wasn't the type if virus we thought it would be? What if it was an assertion of the dominance of Artificial Intelligence? What if humans became inferior?

"She's just different I guess- she's fun." He said. "She's playing you like a game of chess right now, are you aware?" Snapped his other friend, irritated with his arrogance. "So be it." this fan fiction's inspiration came from the books Looking For Alaska and Paper Towns, both written by John green. A lot of the same concepts and things from each book are present in this fan fiction. Just so that is known.

I did a research project to explore whether The Singularity could happen sooner than expected. Like maybe RIGHT NOW? Technically speaking that turns out to be very difficult, but not impossible, if we assume a series of precise breakthroughs. The storyline depicts the last few weeks before this transition, an event more awesome than anything we can imagine. It's written as a collection of incidents and developments set in the VERY near future. Each brief chapter could be read independently. No equations are used in this version of the story. The main character is not really part of the process, but gets to witness things up close. Unfortunately, there was no way I could make him survive the events.
