A profoundly eccentric high school girl named Ocean is raised in a beach town where performing arts are not appreciated. Ocean is the town's sweetheart, unapologetically herself, her personality shining through even the worst days. The majority of her town admires her optimistic outlook on life. They all refer to her as Darling. The high school kids do not. In fact, Ocean is frowned upon by her peers. Her interest in the arts is off-putting and peculiar to them. Ocean doesn't mind being isolated from their social life; she has her best friends, Inez and Opal. Until one day, a boy named Evander, whom she had grown up around her whole life but never exchanged words with, becomes infatuated with her whimsy. Day by day, Ocean and Evander fall in love, spending their whole senior year together. He supports her dreams of making it to Broadway, and he adores her for who she truly is. Until one day, he betrays her by doing the unexpected. A crushed Ocean moves on with her life after high school, excitedly reaching her goals of Broadway. A yearning, Evander spends years trying to find her and win her back. Over time, he goes to a series of her Broadway shows, watching her from afar, thinking maybe she will spot him in the crowd one day. He eventually decides enough is enough and works day and night laboriously trying to make it as an actor on Broadway himself. In hopes that he will land a role in the same show as her, finally getting to mend their burned bridge and confess his love.

How does an artist find inspiration and then act on it? Quite a unique question that an artist may ponder on. Well, it's almost impossible to find the answer to the question, but in simple terms, it all depends on the artist. Creativity flourishes in individuals differently, and frankly, pinpointing the exact inspirations starts from the very beginning. Not every artist is the same and it's important to know that not all artists get inspired by the same thing. Though truth is plain to see, artist's get inspired by anything and everything. This essay scrapes the top of how I became an artist, who I am as an artist and why I became that artist. Simply, my artists' journey.

Once every ten years, on the night of midsummer's heart, a performance is held in the secluded village of Saepita. It is a grand spectacle, with every villager serving their part in it. After a decade of preparation, a considerable amount of effort is given in order to appease a very critical audience, an audience they hope will not grow.

Chip is a young man, a quiet introvert who doesn't have the most self confidence. Instead of being able to enjoy a quiet drink and think about life in isolation (thanks for making this relevant, COVID), until he's thrust unwillingly into the spotlight and has to make a tough decision on the fly. An exercise in YA fiction about a young man who finds himself in a strange situation in a bar.

He is the most popular guy in the grade and acts like he owns the place, which isn't far off seeing his mom is principal. He has the head cheerleader for a girlfriend and biggest bigot in school as his best friend. What happens when Dawson finds himself being attracted to the one person he shouldn't want? They have been friends for five long years, and they thought their relantionship was nothing but platonic. It was the year 2012, the year their community decided to put on the play Little Shop of Horrors. So, naturally, they both tried out for a part. Ironically enough they both got their first leading roles. Everytihng was doing just fine when one day the person who plays Audrey is gone,, and everyone decides to joke around. To bad a once innocent joke turns into a big emotional mess

"Are you feeling alright, Noah?" I looked around the room with utter confusion. Lights, cameras, and several people surrounded me as I lay on the cold wooden floor of a stage. Where was I? Who were these people? As i look to my left I catch a familiar face, "Bailee?" Her eyebrows furrowed and her lips parted, letting out a sigh. She whispered to the man next to her, giving me glances every once in a while. The person to my right cleared his throat, letting out an unfamiliar voice, "Who do you think you are?" I paused for a second, thinking about the simple question. "I'm Oliver," I said, as that was the one thing i was sure of. "This is worse than we thought. He thinks he's his character from the show."

I know I already made one of these, but that was last year's. This one is for this year.
