Stanley was an ordinary man, living in a quiet apartment where he could code in peace. He worked at quite a huge company called Parablix, where all they did was press buttons on a screen. Stanley had plenty of coworkers, all of which he was friends with. To name some, there was Mariella, Arren(Adventure line™), Jim(432 or Timekeeper), and perhaps Mark(Bucket). And he was happy. -- Nikolas(Better known as "The Narrator") was a writer, and he was plenty famous. He was easily recognized by his unnaturally yellow eyes and glasses, so this led to alot of chases. They decided to be alone in his little home living with his sister, Catherine(Curator). They lived peacefully, as Catherine sold his books in the local bookstore and he would just watch in the distance, avoiding publicity. -- That was the difference between the two men. But, when Catherine tells Nikolas to get his own house after being bombarded with fans, he somehow ended up being in the same apartment with Stanley. And the worst part-or best, whichever you prefer-was that he was with the same room. -- This will be a Human AU, where all characters are human (quite obvious, really.) This was inspired by multiple people. Namely Sad-ist, Kaz from a tsp discord, and might also be tiktok aus.

SUMMARY There are secrets one holds very dear, Stanley understands that. It is one of the reasons he doesn't ask questions. But when the Narrator would often wake in the middle of the night, feel around the bed, and be calm when he feels Stanley there Stanley can't help but be worried. What happens when your history haunts you-- when your history is already so complex but so much more when you are trapped with the people you once loved? or still Love. Stanley and The Narrator, a pair never made to last. Creator and creation. "Let's go back just once and give Stanley one more run of the office, Then I'll retire him for good." Stanley found himself desperately attempting to extend this last run of his as much as he could but ultimately couldn't escape from the end after all. The end of the parable and the end of his life chased him relentlessly. And he was going to run out of breath. He awoke one day to sand and sky and the sun gliding over him. ---------------------- This is not going to include any romance, (unless you look closely ig) BUT hear me out, this is an emotional rollercoaster through the path I'm pretty sure most players go through. Just told in a dramatic pre release au Stanley and Narrator thing. Where Stanley - a real person- had helped the narrator cover all corners of the game and create new endings. (Idk man I just moved my hands and this came out. The epilogue traumatised me. )

Stanley has been in the parable without much changes or anything. The same endings again and again. Until one day when he reaches the same corridor that he has seen many times. And sees a confused Mariella. Mariella is now determined to get out of the parable despite The Narrator trying to get the story back on track without Mariella. Maybe Mariella might be able to reach the never ending end.

The Narrator creates the Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket so that Stanley can feel less bored while he is in the Parable. Stanley is fascinated that he has something that's as close to a comfort object that he will ever have. Meanwhile, the Narrator observes Stanley and the bucket and wonders why he is so obsessed with it. It's becoming more than a comfort object at this point. Stanley is treating the bucket like a person. The Narrator is confused as to why Stanley can't just talk to him if he wants someone to talk to. The reason Stanley gives makes the Narrator feels things that he has never felt before. - - - This book is reuploaded from my new ao3 account goodboycupcake.
