Beneath King Minos' palace, the labyrinth is said to be an endless prison built to contain the Minotaur. But what no one knows is that it has a secret master. A nameless slave, born within its stone walls, has spent years mapping its passages, bending its shifting corridors, and whispering to the living maze.
When Theseus arrives in Crete, the slave sees a chance-not only to end the Minotaur's reign of terror but to spark a rebellion against Minos' tyranny. With knowledge of the labyrinth's secrets, they could free the oppressed and rewrite the fate of Crete.
But every labyrinth has a price. The maze hungers, and the one who controls it risks being consumed by its power.
