Step into the shadowy realm of "Poe's Nightmares," a mesmerizing collection of short stories and poetry penned by the enigmatic Lady Eckland. This anthology is a tribute to the master of the macabre, Edgar Allan Poe, whose spectral whisper resonates through each page. In this haunting compilation, Lady Eckland weaves tales of lost love, twisted fates, and unspeakable horrors, each a delicate tapestry of fear and beauty. Her poetry, dark and rhythmic, echoes the tormented soul of Poe, drawing readers into a world where the line between the living and the dead blurs. From the eerie depths of "The Raven's Shadow," where whispers of a cursed bird haunt a tormented mind, to the chilling prose of "Labyrinth of the Heart," a tale of a lover's descent into madness, each piece in this collection is a testament to the enduring power of Poe's legacy. But "Poe's Nightmares" is more than an homage. It is an exploration of the darkest corners of the human psyche, a journey through mist-shrouded streets of the Gothic, and a plunge into the abyss of the supernatural. Lady Eckland's voice, both unique and familiar, serves as a guide through this labyrinth of fear and fascination. Prepare to be entranced by the allure of the nightmarish. "Poe's Nightmares" invites you to lose yourself in the poetic darkness, to explore the eerie and unknown, and to experience the timeless terror that only Poe could inspire. This collection is a must-read for aficionados of the Gothic and for anyone who dares to confront the shadows that dwell within us all.

A Rewrite of The Tell Tale Heart by the famous Edgar Allan Poe! I decided to Rewrite this wonderful story but with the old man's point of view (P.O.V). Small Extract:- DEATH! All I remember is death! Or -- maybe -- just maybe, more - than just death. Maybe about how freighted I was that night. Like how I wanted to jump of my body to escape my fear. Or maybe about how betrayal can be. The saddest thing about betrayal, is that it never comes from your enemies, but from the people you love and trust... Why? _______________________________________________________________ Disclaimer: - Original by Edgar Allan Poe. - Story inspired by The original "The Tell Tale Heart". - Cover photo is not mine! (If you know who it belong to, please tell me so I could credit the artist properly.)

Whether you read it in school, or just read it for fun (it's fine if you haven't heard of it at all!), you most likely know the tale of "THE TELL TALE HEART" well. Have you ever wondered, "How did the madman meet the old man?" "When did he start and how did he start going mad?" "What happens afterward?" Well, I'm here to answer those questions of yours, in this very book. Also, don't be afraid to put down your own ideas of how the story goes in your head, what the characters look like, or how they came to be or their names as well. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do (and don't mind if I spell something wrong, I tried my best!) ~ur girl eli <3 P.S. Idk why my user name is "ur girl eli &It;3" because I keep turning it back to "ur girl eli <3" but it won't let me. unless it's only showing that for me, idk, so I just wrote that here <3.

Autor original: Edgar Allan Poe

I love all things Edgar Allan Poe, so when I first read The Tell-Tale Heart, I wanted to write my own tale told from the murderer's point of view. The only way I could make my own story work is if I write my own way - not copy, no homages. And, of course, get to a frame of mind to become a madman -- religious-zealot-misogynistic-first-kill-crazy-madman head (or what I think it is like). So, this is it. I hope you like this. ❤️ My Thank You's: 1. Thank you, Google! Lots of 'neck anatomy', 'strangle in detail' 'strangle fatal' 'trachea break' 'strangulation minutes to die' etc searches. 2. Thank you, Robert Ludlum and Jason Bourne, for teaching me when I was 15 the proper way to fatally strangle someone. 3. Finally, a huge thanks to my brother who gave me anatomical and medical advice. Me: Point to me how blue. (Beat.) Oh, very blue. Him: Purple, too. Me: If I strangle someone, how long will it take for them to die? 🔥💖
