Hello! This is my first ever story here on wattpad, I really hope you like it! I saw that there aren't that much stories about "The thief and the cobbler" and I decided to write one myself. Thank you for reading it <3 Tack definitely needs more attention :p

Y/n was the princess of golden city with her sister Yumyum. living a closed off life along with her sister made Y/n feels unloved and wanting more not seeing nor talking to her father due to him sleeping all the time and only caring about anything else but her. One day while looking out the window she sees a tall boy with kind eyes being dragged into the palace..

So this will NOT be a crossover, but an AU. It's basically the story of The Thief and the Cobbler, but with the Great God Grove characters. Does that mean they'll change their personality? Nope, they still have their original personality. Note that the story will not be the exact same as the original one, it'll be similar but with slight changes to adapt it to the characters. When Ao3 accepts my invitation, I'll also add this there. When I publish chapter 1 and this AU hits 200 views, I'll also translate it to Spanish.

This is my like 4th or 3rd book!! This book will be basically just a one person perspective, mostly like going on daring adventures with the characters. Or like this is probably a self insert but just with y/n. This is also like a X reader book but probably only with the main protagonists, tack or maybe princess yum yum.

Long ago, in the Golden City, there lived two poor cobblers: Tack, a mute pale hard worker, and his younger sister, Y/N, a livelier and darker girl. But after crossing paths with a certain thief, their lives are forever changed. Join Tack and Y/N as they go on a journey to save their Golden City!

i had heard of this movie before in my days of rooting online (hahaha), but i was like, 'meh, it's unfinished, don't really care.' but one day a video from the movie showed up while scrolling through my shorts, and i'm like, 'who is this tack guy?' so i googled him and then i was like, 'oh, the thief and the cobbler, i think i've heard of it before!' and then i decided to see if it was available to watch online, and i decided to watch the original, unfinished, uncut 1992 workprint version (update: it was the recobbled version, but it's so similar to the original that it's basically the same, right?) now, usually when i do something like this i just watch like the first 6 minutes of the movie and then move on. but i decided to watch the whole thing. it was a bit confusing and there were moments where i was like, 'uhhh,' but after a while i started to get it. and then, after finishing it, i was like, 'my god this movie is good.' i watched the mirimax version, and it was pretty good. not as good as the original, and there were some parts that i loathed, but i found it enjoyable.i recently finished the fred calvert version, and it was alright. although nothing can compare to the original, uncut version, the fred calvert at least tried and respected a lot of aspects from the original (yes they made it a freaking musical and made tack talk but tack's voice is alright and they didn't over narrate as much as mirimax.) og: infinity/10. fred calvert: 6.4/10. mirimax: it SHOULD be 3/10, but it's so bad and over narrated that it's actually funny and i kinda enjoyed it anyways, this fanfic is just gonna be short and probably really bad, but i adore this movie and it's my favorite animated film. basically just about after the movie where tack and yum yum start their married life and have a bunch of kids and stuff. oh yea and the thief will probably get a girlfriend as well. mostly takes after the 1992 workprint/recobbled plot, but the thief talks like the mirimax version. enjoy!

I just wanted to do smth abt this movie. lol. Since i finally got to watch it & OMG IT IS SOOO UNDERRATED. NO BC RLLY - i barely knew abt it 'till youtube recommended a video essay abt this movie to me. Supposedly Aladdin was a Disney copy version of this film and it is true. You can pretty much see the many similarities. This is an "x reader" fanfic. I tried to search what Tak's age is and Google didn't exactly state it but for the sake of it i figure he might be abt 22. So you're 22 as well . ANYWAY- i hope u enjoy !!!

why not? i also cannot believe that this man went from being a slouchy pale dude to being a muscular standing straight up guy! and he still managed to keep his personality of being cute and kind and humble and never once thought of changing himself unlike, *ahem* aladdin (that ripoff...) i may also make other headcanons about other characters but seriously, bro went from being white as the paper to being a rich healthy dark chocolate
