One evening, a shadowy figure awakens in Twilight Trail with no memory of who he is or his past. Confused, he sets out to find answers. Soon, he finds himself joined by a Shadow Spirit named Vivian, a treasure tracking Toad named Toadara, a talking notebook named Logan, and a Squeeks named Ms. Mowz. Together, can they help him discover who he truly is? Cover and chapter images hand drawn by me.

A full adaptation of Luigi's adventure that was only told in brief stories during the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. While Mario is out on his expedition of trying to open the Thousand-Year Door, Luigi receives a letter that will thrust him into his very own princess-saving adventure in the Waffle Kingdom. But will this journey be too much of a task for Luigi? Join Luigi as he travels across the Waffle Kingdom and recruits companions of his own, aiming to get out of his brother's shadow and prove that he is capable of saving people using his own strength. But, Luigi being the person that he is, there are bound to be a few mishaps along the way...
