Set in the world of The Tomorrow People, episode 10, "The Citadel". Right after Errol (played by Ty Olsson) escapes the facility. I changed some things around and threw some details in there that may have never been mentioned in that episode or the entirety of the show. The story is mine, the idea and premise behind it is NOT. Errol is the first one to escape that hellhole. He makes it to a park/walking trail and meets Catherine, whom he very quickly forms a connection with. Can the two find out who is responsible for what happened to Errol and so many others, and take them down, before it's too late?

They say that home is where the heart is. I guess that means that your home could be with a person too. In my case, it's a group of people. But I've never really had a home. My name is Lyric Young. I'm different than the average person, and not just because of my name. I belong to a group of people. Special people. We may look like you, act like you, and talk like you, but we are not like you. Hell, I don't even think we're considered human. We can do things. Things the normal person can not. We have abilities that set us apart, and make us dangerous to society. And the government knows it. They have a secret organization named Ultra, which hunts us down, killing us, kidnapping us, or taking our abilities away. But we will take them down. And even though I only just learned about all this, I know that we can win this war.

I'm different from all of you. I don't know how, or why or why my genetics are different. All I know is that there are people like me, people hiding from a group called Ultra. I'm in danger, I'm alone in the world. My mom isn't all she seems to be, my dad was a lie and now I have to put up with new people who know how to run my life. Trying to settle in, isn't in my agenda. Trying to survive is my only objective.
