An au taking place after season 2, where once they got back to 2019, it wasn't the whole sparrow academy situation, and everything was as it was before the apocalypse. Klaus hasn't been doing so good after losing Ben, and does something dangerous to try and bring him back.

It was like talking to a mirror, but the mirror was more dressed in a more gaudy way than anything that he'd ever be caught dead in, though perhaps that was appropriate.
