This story is what I would want to happen if there was ever a 7th book. The Rose and Dimitri love story progresses, but also gets complicated as there are bumps in their relationship, a new friendship is formed and new secrets are revealed and lives are lost.

This is a story of my own imagination, a combination of the books "The Vampire Academy" series and the "Shadowhunter" series. I did not come up with most of the characters, they are from either of the books I mentioned. This is a retelling of Lissa and Clary's high school years. Two bestfriends (basically sisters), one's half dead and the other going insane. Sounds like a normal high school experience right? So picture this; It's midnight, you, your bestfriend, and her family are all in a car driving down a winding road in pitch black darkness. Sound fun right? Well it was until you get trapped in the middle of a sibling stand off about what obscure radio station should be playing in the middle of the night. "Turn it back Clare you know I love that song!" Lissa commanded me. "No don't, that song is repulsive" Andre countered. This had been going back and fourth for the last 20 minutes and being the person controlling the music I was sick of it. "If you two don't shut up I'm turning on country music," I threatened and both of them immediately stopped arguing. "Good."

(Takes place after frostbite into shadow kiss, Dimitri is never turned, and the Strigoi never came to attack) Still buried with guilt, rose Hathaway tries to find ways of coping. She's faced with many problems and decisions and darkness pulls her closer to depression and insanity, will she beat it and get her happily ever after?
