But instead of dying, his life is saved by the sentient living slime who holds a few.... secrets. Charlie and Slimecicle struggle to find a way to work together, all the while finding themselves pulled into the middle of a battle between Villlians and Heros... and finding out just how deep this conflict actually goes. The two of them fight heros, fight villians, fight the societal biases about whos strong and who isnt, fight their own weaknesses together, and even fight the one who gave humanity their powers in the first place. A young man is working on a small video franchise for his film & photography class when he begins looking back on tapes and starts to notice someone that seems to be in each one, and he doesn't even remember them being there. He brushes it off at first since they are all in the same area- but soon starts suspecting something odd. Because wherever he goes, the man won't leave.
