Rand Al'Thor, Perrin Aybara, Matrim Cauthon. Three aging men, far past their prime, living stubborn, quiet lives in the quiet town of Emond's Field. While all had families and lived relatively happy lives, none accomplished anything particularly spectacular, and now age weighs heavily on them all. But all of that changes one night when a mysterious woman and her guardian visit the sleepy town, in search of Ta'veren, individuals with incredible power and influence. In the course of a night, the destiny of these aging men will change. Upon the weight of one of them, an incomprehensible responsibility will soon lie. Robert Jordan once said that he intended for the protagonist of The Wheel of Time to be an aging man who, relatively late in his life, realizes he is the chosen one. This story attempts to recreate what may have been in this very different timeline.

This story follows the events of season 1. We will see what happens when Lan returns with Moiraine to Fal Dara, and what else there is in store for the companions. Will Moiraine be able to channel again? There will be 38 chapters. New chapters will be published each Monday and Thursday.

Adventure Fantasy ~ A Prince finds himself alone when his whole family is killed by bandits. His only friend is one of this father's old guard who saves him and gets him to safety. But what now? The Prince will need to learn how to fight and gain an army if he wants to take back the throne that is rightfully his and settle the score with those who took everything from him.

With the Last Battle over, people have to start a new life, readjust. For some it is harder than the others. What do you do when you've fulfilled your purpose, when there are no more fights to fight? What would Moiraine do?

Instead, he followed her with his eyes, while he took a good look at her. At his Aes Sedai. This strong woman, who had lost her powers. Who had never cried in front of him. But right now, she looked broken and lost. This woman was a shadow of the powerful Aes Sedai, who he had known for so many years now. He wanted to hug her. He wanted to assure her that she wasn't alone.

A new Wilder is in town, but she isn't in the mood to join the White Tower. Will Moiraine and Lan be able to convince her? Or will she choose the dark side? This story was written for the contest 'Build-A-Fanfic'.

I started writing chapters of the book series The Wheel of Time from someone else's perspective. It could be a passerby, another main character, or another one of Robert Jordan's 3000 characters. I try to make each as accurate to the originals as possible, but there are events that don't quite match up to the story. Note: This will contain spoilers from the whole series, so this is not recommended for first-time readers.

After the events at the Eye of the World, Moiraine struggles to find her place in the group without her connection to Saidar and, ultimately, makes a heartbreaking decision. Is it really the right thing to do? Soon she discovers that she can't do everything on her own. Sometimes, it is important to have someone by your side to help you through your bad times. This story will have 29 chapters.
