Disclaimer: I don't own Disney, and most of the characters and places I write about in this story belong to Disney. __________________________________ Edwin is enjoying his wickedly evil life on The Isle of the lost when his mother, The Wicked Witch of the West, tells him that he will be attending Auradon Prep in Auradon due to the newly kinged Ben's proclamation. Now having to unwilling pack his broomstick up and move to Auradon, will Edwin stay rotten to the core or get rid of the meanness in his greenness. Mal was enjoying her newly evil-freed life, when her boyfriend, King Ben, announced that Edwin would be joining them in Auradon. Now with her past coming back to haunt her, will Mal really be changed to good or still be stuck in the same evil routine? With bullying by Chad Charming and his gang, confronting his old classmates and finding friendship in unlikely places, will Edwin be able to handle it all?

This is an encounter between Dorothy and the Scarecrow after the melting of the Wicked Witch of the West. It is a Wicked fanfic. Ok so my inspiration for this comes from a book I read in middle school called The Land of Stories. Basically the main character, Alex, has a dream where she meets her childhood fantasy heroes: Wendy Darling, Lucy Pevensie, Alice (from Wonderland), and Dorothy Gale. Alex has this vision because she is internally conflicted about killing the bad guy. The four characters encourage her, and something that always stuck with me is that Dorothy tells Alex that she always felt guilty for killing the Wicked Witch of the West, even though it was an accident. The premise of this fanfic is that immediately after the events in the castle, as the gang is returning to the Wizard, Dorothy is visibly upset by what occurred. The Scarecrow attempts to cheer her up. This fanfic is inspired by Wicked. There are no spoilers for Act I or II, but I will include an epilogue at the end with spoilers for the whole play. I will imply some things about the play, but nothing is directly referenced. Also there are spoilers for the Wizard of Oz, obviously. Cover Photo credit goes to Universal Studios.

Following an encounter with the Wizard of Oz, their relationship soon reaches a crossroads as their lives begin to take very different paths. A year later, now demonized as the Wicked Wizard of the West, Elphobus lives in exile in the Ozian forest, while Glinda and (Y/n) reside at the palace in Emerald City, reveling in the perks of fame and popularity. As an angry mob rises against the Wicked Wizard, Elphobus needs to reunite with (Y/n) to transform himself, and all of Oz, for good.
