Since the wilds got cancelled i decided to write out what I think would've been the outcome of LEATIN :') This takes place immediately after the events from S2 (keep in mind this is mainly focused on Leah and Fatin only. I could write out the entirety of season 3 if you guys want me to tho!)

Toni moves to Texas after her last six foster home didn't quite work out. Now she's living in deep red texas, away from the one girl who she can call family. So yeah, life isn't going great for her. Until she meets Shelby in her new school. Shelby, the gorgeous, intelligent, perfect, blonde hair, green eye, popular....christian....homophobic girl... Okay so she's not perfect. And maybe she gets on Toni's nerves, and maybe Toni's very existence is against her beliefs. But sometimes luck is just on your side.

Pretty much a completely canon storyline - except for a few ~extended~ scenes ;)) - from the POV of both Shelby and Toni throughout the major beats of their relationship. I loved this pair and the original plot so much that I wanted to delve deeper into the emotions and subtexts of the original scenes to explore what the characters might have been really feeling. So here it is: The Wilds in book form. Enjoy!

All the girls live in the same town. They might know each other, they might not. Eventually they will. No plane crash. No island. No Dawn of Eve. Just a town and a high school. A "normal" teenager life. However, don't expect it to be boring. Because as Leah said: "Being a teenage girl in normal ass America, that was the real living hell."

I know y'all love shoni so I'm keeping their plot and adding two of my own characters. All rights go to the extraordinary writers and creators of the wilds.

Im welcome to any writing tips you have. Really just written for those who are driven mad by that show and need a real ending, this is my take and theories abt it.
