His sole anchor to the mortal world is Shimmer, a gifted magician who tames the other-worldly champion like a prized stallion. Without her, he will succumb to the evil voice that would make him spiral into turmoil along with everything else. Even with a guiding light, the Champion is still lured by eternal darkness, where he will be lost forever with nothing to save him. Desolation will be his only company.
