His care for her begins to develop into something more, but the war with Hydra keeps getting in the way. Their time is running out. Fate brought them together once; will it bring them together again? Author's Note: This story begins in the 1940's and will take you on a journey to the end of Captain America: Civil War (or maybe I'll do the entire MCU timeline if I'm feeling frisky). It's quite a long story, but there is always something going on; every chapter is important. This story is a slow-burn filled with tension and teasing; happy moments and...well, if you know the MCU, then you know the fate that awaits poor, handsome Bucky. I tried to keep most of this story as accurate to the MCU timeline and lore as possible, but I did have to change a few things to better fit this fanfiction.
