I invite you to join me in this verse by verse study of the gospel of John. While the other gospels are centered on the ministry of Jesus in Galilee, John centers his account on Jesus' ministry in Jerusalem. While Matthew's gospel explains Jesus was descended from Abraham and King David, Mark's gospel explains Jesus was raised in Nazareth, and Luke's gospel explains Jesus is the perfect human man descended from Adam, John's gospel demonstrates that Jesus is God Himself who came to us from heaven. While John skips over significant events such as Jesus' birth, baptism, temptation in the wilderness, and other events, he instead tells us who Jesus is by giving an account of seven different miracles or "signs", seven powerful "I am" statements from Jesus Himself, and by providing the testimony of multiple witnesses who spoke openly of who Jesus was and is.

This will be a book of testimonies, bits of The Word and just general revelations of my faith as a young Christian. I may also recommend some songs and artists for Christians occasionaly. Are you burdened by the circumstances of life? Do you battle with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, infirmity, financial burdens, loss or delay? It does not matter what you face today a loving God wants to comfort and heal your pain and hurt. He wants to wipe away the tears from your eyes because you are that special and important to him. He hears the cry of the brokenhearted. Allow him to fight your battles and be victorious. All that I have I give it you my friends; the power of prayer. Together let's warefare and pray against these stubborn problems plaguing our lives. You are not alone. Come and let's stand in agreement and allow somebody to pray for you.

In the Beginning, God Created! Not just a planet, nor a people to teach his ways, but a promise. A promise that holds all of the power of Heaven to save us if we would choose it. Our planet was tarnished by sin, the sin of choosing the words of the-satan over the words of the Creator. But we are not lost. The book of Genesis is the beginning of our story and the place where we are to start making our way to grabbing hold of God's promise and being saved.
