Mylo and Lucas accidentally stumble into the Underworld and meet Alex, who initially suspects them of trespassing past Cerberus. Elsewhere, another demigod named Miko in Tokyo fights off a mythological Fury using lightning from a magical ring, then returns home to an abusive household. When a Child Protective Services worker visits, Miko desperately tries to hide the abuse and pretend everything is normal.
