Katniss has made a living for her family in District 12 hunting with some old 3DMG and a dull titan blade. Her life isn't filled with much until she turns sixteen and her sister, Primrose, is selected at the reaping. She volunteers without hesitation and is flung into the dreaded Titan Games. Levi has trained his whole life to win the Games. Everyone tells him he's a natural so it's no surprise when he volunteers at age seventeen. He's confident the training has prepared him for everything, but when he meets a gray-eyed girl, he discovers there are some things he couldn't have prepared for. The Games become even more dangerous when the two begin to piece together the truth. They realize beating the leaders is more important than beating the other tributes. As the odds get slimmer, Levi and Katniss fight to spark a rebellion to unite the Districts against the real enemy. If they succeed, they will be free and the leaders will fall. But if they fail, the human race may be lost forever.

Gale is in District 2 kissing on some other girl's limps. Peeta and Katniss have kids together and blah,blah,blah, happy ending, Yeah! Well if told you that the facts you read where fakes? Yes FAKES! Suzanne had to make up lies for a crowed pleaser. What if I tolled you that Rue is living with other tributes from the 74th Hunger Games, if Katniss fell head over her bow for someone else. The most unlikely person to think of. What if Katniss had to kill one of her own. I have searched long and hard for the truth and now I shall share it with you in a three book saga.

this is my interpretation of the 17th hunger games

This story is based off a mini plot twist, but otherwise this is just an After Mockingjay story. The plot twist is basically that Katniss didn't kiss Peeta when they were in the Capitol during the Rebellion, and how it would effect Peeta's recovering, since that is obviously taking it a step back. --- Katniss is broken, tortured, and she has lost almost everyone she ever took a second to care about. Almost. Peeta is still alive, but also still hijacked. Will Katniss find a way to cure Peeta, and get him to come back to her? And how does their future, after the Rebellion, look? (The first 16 chapters has been re-written, because I accidentally deleted the story oops)
