The boy grabbed the arm Laura was holding the axe, catching her off guard. She struggled, pulling hard to get away- but he was too strong. He twisted her arm as the axe dangled helplessly from her fingertips. She chocked out a strangled yelp, dropping it to the floor; the eco growling no louder than the silent raging fires of fear growing in her chest. The boy loosened his grip for a mere second, but it was all Laura needed. Taking the chance, she wrenched her arm away and took her escape. Her drumming heartbeat alining with her quickened steps. Not even five steps out, the master thieve caught her once more. Grabbing her, pinning her to the wall and looking straight into her eyes. Laura's heart was racing, and her breathing came out in short strangled gasps. She was frightened out of her life. She felt as if stones where tied to her feet. "Sorry doll, but you're coming with me," the boy smirked. He pushed her to her knees, grabbed a nearby pipe and swung it at her head. Before she could even scream, a silent blackness invaded her vision, and he watched as she slumped to the ground. Satisfied, the boy let out a sigh. "This is gonna be fun." He cracked his neck as a wide grin stretched across his handsome face

Arina Brooks is a girl of much curiosity as is she a tad bit of a smooch but not with the lips. Being a girl at 17 in San Francisco California can be tough but it's almost impossible when you're on your own though she somehow makes it seem as if she can do it with both hands behind her back which is most accurate in shops of sorts. She lives a life of mystery, her own Nancy Drew of San Francisco as her partner in crime Caleb Brown describes her as and he is of course another street rat on his own but only with the company of each other and let's not tell his slight feelings towards Arina even if she is oblivious to them.
