Thin Stories

"Love is a game," Ike whispers in my ear, a random and blatant comment from out of the blue. At first, I assume it's an insult, telling me that this has all been a game. The thought alone makes my eyes tear up; the thought that this has been nothing to him while it's been everything to me, "a g-game?" I manage the words out, barely. He tangles our fingers together with a short peck on my temple, the sweet gesture confusing me even more. I look up, straight into his green eyes, and see that they're tearing up, too, "and in this game, I only want you as my player two."

Blaire likes things thick. Her pancakes are thick; her maple syrup is thick; her hair is thick; her glasses are thick; even her thoughts are thick. Niall likes things thin. His guitar pick; his walls; the ice he's standing on with his girlfriend, Madison; he even likes his pancakes thin. In fact, the Only thing not thin about him is his voice. Especially when he sings. So when Niall comes across a thick girl in a pancake shoppe while running away from his fans, will he be unfazed by Blaire, or will his thoughts turn thick as well?

This is a Classical Argument Paper that I wrote for my English 1010 class. I got 190/200 on it and I am more than a little proud of this. It isn't what people usually read, that's okay.
