Due to their inability to be useful to the world of Vigor in any shape or form, every race has joined hands to commit a mass genocide to end the entire human race. No human was spared, no human could flee, none could hide. Except one boy who grew up and sought revenge for his entire race.

An old headmaster, with a twinkle in his eye, assigns a young magic student to accompany a weary wizard. The journey is simple at first; for Ellyn to learn more about the world, and for her to become his friend, much to Simon's chagrin.
