[ A Mermaid Story ] “How many kids?” Lisa asked as I was lifted into the air. I listened as someone farther away from me shouted to go home. “Fifteen. Nine girls, six boys, all teens.” “Ay,” Lisa muttered. “This is the strangest case I’ve ever witnessed.” My body met something firm and uncomfortable a few seconds later. The woman continued to mutter comforting words to me but I didn’t listen, I was trying to figure out what happened to me, but every time I tried, I came up blank with a slight throbbing in the back of my head. Something sharp stabbed me in the crease of my elbow and if I could move I would flinch. Instantly I was pulled back into darkness.

“Well, looks like my Little Lamb will have her first kiss after all...” he mumbled closing the distance between us as he leaned in more. All thirsty , I was looking for a Cola Machine that could suppress my thirst in middle of the night on a tube station in London , not a lot of shops were open on the station at that time of the night ! Tubes were all delayed and I was waiting for a tube that could take me to Westminster , where I stayed! After a long search of 25 mins , I finally found a cola machine and was really relieved seeing it . I went near it and after it ate my two pounds , it said ' Out of Order ' , it got me real upset and I continued waiting for my tube . This poem is a short narration of how I felt in that moment , not able to bear my thirst .
